Mamata condoles Bengal workers' death in UP blast

Kolkata, Feb 23 (IANS) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday condoled the death of Bengal workers in an explosion at a house in a Uttar Pradesh, and assured assistance.
"My condolences to the families of the people killed. Nine of those who lost their lives in the tragedy are from Malda," Banerjee tweeted.
As many as 13 people were killed and a dozen injured in a blast at Rothaan village, 30 km from Bhadohi district headquarters.
Assuring immediate assistant to the victims' families, she said: "Police team from Bengal is helping to bring back bodies and provide assistance. Bengal ministers Shuvendu and Firhad with others are on their way to Malda."
The blast razed the building and cracks developed in neighbouring houses.
