Raghubar Das pledged on International Women’s Day

Honouring the women who are doing well in their area of work, Das said the government has earmarked a separate budget to execute women-related schemes.

Stating that there were 36,000 self-help groups (SHGs) across Jharkhand giving jobs to approximately, four lakh persons, Das called upon to double the SGHs by the next International Women’s Day.

He said the government was providing assistance of Rs 12,000 to each house-hold for the construction of toilets.

Once again he appealed the women to create a “people’s movement” in their respective villages to make them alcohol-free, for which the village would be rewarded with Rs 1 lakh for development.
