Leonardo DiCaprio will be in New Delhi starting today for four days to profile Sunita Narain, the director general of the Centre for Science and Environment, for a yet-to-be titled documentary.

Narain had received the 2005 Stockholm World Water Prize for her work on rainwater harvesting.

According to the Indian Express, the documentary will “explore the crisis of our time in a way that has never been done before”. DiCaprio’s foundation, started in 1998, has been working on conservation projects in about 40 countries. He is also the United Nations Messenger of Peace with a special focus on climate change.

In 2007, the actor had created, produced and narrated a documentary film, The 11th Hour, on the state of the environment, after brainstorming with Stephen Hawking and Nobel laureate Wangari Maathai. Eight years later, he returns to tell another story to try to find solutions to the global climate crisis.
