Member of Parliament Kirti Azad has denied a tweet sent from his Twitter account to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, calling him the Hindi parallel of effeminate – napunsak.

Former cricketer Kirti Azad had been vocal about the alleged corruption in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).

On Sunday, Azad had also screened a video by WikiLeaks for India and Hindi newspaper Sun Star.

Jaitley has been central to the DDCA row after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal alleged corruption in the DDCA under Jaitley’s leadership.

Arun Jaitley was the chief of the cricket association between 1999 and 2013.

Following demands for his resignation by Kejriwal’s Aam aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress party, Jaitley has slapped defamation charges against six members of AAP, including Kejriwal.

The subject caused furore in the Parliament when Jaitley demanded immediate debate in the ongoing winter session.

Kirti Azad had challenged Jaitley to file defamation charged against him as well.
