Beijing, Nov 23 (IANS) The Chinese staff working at the consulate in Pakistan's Karachi is safe, Beijing said on Friday after the mission was attacked by three militants.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said the attackers, who were killed, failed to enter the premises of the consulate.
Two Pakistani security personnel were also killed in the exchange of fire.
