Family of Slain BJP Leader Protest With His Body in Greater Noida
BJP leader Shiva Kumar was in his Toyota Fortuner SUV when he was shot at. Two others in the car were also injured.
A day after BJP leader Shiva Kumar and his security guard were shot dead by bike-borne assailants in Bisrakh area of Greater Noida, Kumar’s family took to the roads with his body to stage a protest against his killing on 17 November.
According to a Times of India report, Kumar, the headman of Tigri village, was in his Toyota Fortuner SUV when he was shot. His car skid and hit a divider after the shots were fired.
The BJP leader was on his way back from a school in Haibatput that he owns when he was shot.
Two others in the car were also injured in the firing. A police probe is on in the matter.
