Srinagar, March 28 (IANS) The police on Thursday arrested an Al-Badr militant from the Bijbehara area of Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir.
S.P. Pani, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir zone, said some arms and ammunition were also recovered from the militant identified as Rameez Ahmad.
The police said Ahmad was earlier associated with the Hizbul Mujahideen. He joined Al-Badr two years ago.
