West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) declared the result for Uccha Madhyamik, or the Class 12 result, on Monday, 27 May 2019. The result, declared after 11 am, are available on the official website of the West Bengal Board. The candidates can check their results at http://wbchse.nic.in/ .
The students can also check their results via SMS, as well as other result-based portals.
The board announced the scores in a press conference on Monday. 86.92 % students passed the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) Uccha Madhyamik or the Class 12 examination.
As per a report by The Indian Express, Shovan Mondal and Rajashree Barman topped the West Bengal Class 12 HS examination this year. They scored 498/500 marks i.e., 99.60 %
Six students jointly bagged the second position by scoring 496/500 marks i.e., 99.20 %. 37 students in the merit list of 137 students are female students.
The West Bengal HS examination was conducted by WBCHSE between 26 February and 13 March. 8,16,243 students had appeared for the WB HS examination this year.
