Turkey has sent 11 French relatives of suspected "terrorist fighters" back home, the Turkish interior ministry said on Monday, the latest in Ankara's renewed push to deport foreign jihadist insurgents.
"Eleven French citizens have been deported to their home country," a ministry statement said.

A gunman opened fire on Tuesday in a hospital in the eastern Czech city of Ostrova, killing four people and seriously injuring two others, police said.
"There are four dead and two seriously injured people on the site," regional police spokeswoman Pavla Jirouskova told the public Czech Television.
She said the police were still looking for the gunman.

One of the convicts in the December, 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape-and-murder case, who was lodged in the Mandoli Jail here, has been shifted to Tihar, jail officials said on Tuesday.
Pawan Kumar Gupta, who was lodged in the Mandoli Jail, was shifted to Tihar recently, Director General (Prison) Sandeep Goel said.
Gupta is lodged in Jail No. 2 of Tihar, where two other convicts in the case - Mukesh Singh and Akshay - are also lodged, while Vinay Sharma is in Jail No. 4 of Tihar, another jail official said.
Four policemen, who were caught in a snowstorm on the Srinagar-Leh national highway in Kargil district of Ladakh, were rescued by the Army, officials said on Tuesday.
The policemen were caught in the snowstorm when they were on patrolling duty in the Sonamarg-Gumri section of the highway in the Gumri area, they said.
Following the incident, the Army launched an operation and rescued the four on Monday, the officials said.

Police conducted a raid and seized 90 kg illegally cultivated cannabis plants from Naryanpur village in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district. One person has been arrested.
A 26-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped and killed in Rajasthan's Bharatpur district, police said.
The woman's body was found hanged from a tree at Roshiaka village in the district on Monday, after which a case was registered against six people, they said.

Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Modi will be the convener of a Group of Ministers on Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) replacing Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, GST Council sources said.
Sitharaman was inadvertently mentioned as the convenor of the panel set up to discuss issues relating to IGST after she had a meeting with Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan finance ministers and deputy chief ministers of Delhi and Puducherry on 4 December, they said.
