In an interview, Errikos Andreau, the man behind the Deep-Veer wedding photographs and a well-known fashion photographer to Indian glamour circles, says he shot the couple “candidly”.
I shot the two candidly as they celebrated their big moment. It was not like a professional assignment and I wasn’t given any instructions; there were no restrictions either. I was treated like a guest who had a camera and got some nice shots with it.

Errikos actually shares a special bond with both Ranveer and Deepika, having shot the duo for Ram Leela, their first movie together and continuing to work with them separately in individual capacity all these years.
I have shot individually with Ranveer and Deepika a lot of times before. Once you’ve worked with a celebrity for a considerable amount of time, you know what their comfort zones are, what they like and what they dislike.

To capture the pictures, Errikos Andreau, the photographer for Deepika-Ranveer’s wedding shared on his Instagram handle a list of all the equipments he used. He started off by clarifying that he hadn’t used any special equipment for the assignment. He also added that they more he loves and understands his subjects, the better the pictures he gets.
And lastly, part of the magic behind Deepika-Ranveer’s wedding photographs was in natural light. Somehow natural lighting just adds more charm to wedding pictures, don’t you think? Big advantage of a day time wedding.
