An anti-jihadi video advertisement propagating the message of ‘love not terror’ is being widely shared on social media. The advertisement was made by Zain, a telecommunications company in Kuwait, and highlights the present situation in the middle east.

The video was released just one day before the start of Ramadan, the holy month of Islam, and has been viewed more than 3 million times.

Produced in Kuwait, the video propagates the most simple and basic message of peace and harmony. It talks about how we should confront our enemies with peace, not war, and how we should persuade others with leniency and not force.

The three minute video begins with child saying, “he will tell god everything,” and how “they have filled cemeteries with children and emptied the school desks.” It further shows the contrasting images of death, destruction and the smiling faces of kids and couples.

It finally sends out the message that people need to worship God with love and not terror; be tender in your faith and not harsh.
