There is no escaping notice when it comes to social media. Furthermore, there is no escaping knee-jerk reproaches if you happen to be in the public eye! NDTV journalist Sunetra Choudhury seems to be caught in that vicious web. Her recent tweets on her home town Shillong and its want of accessibility received quite the backlash on Twitter.

Finally!

Anyway, Choudhury did not lose heart. She went on tweeting relentlessly, tottering on the brink of the sinking ship. She kept laying claims on authenticity on account of her having hailed from Shillong. That didn’t last for long though. Pretty soon, she was showered with enough evidence to make her retract her claims.
