We keep hearing and reading about incidents of sexual harassment. But such accounts often do not precisely capture what really unfolded.
With this thought in mind, Israeli-American director Sigal Avin, herself a victim of harassment, launched six short films based on real-life incidents of sexual harassment in the US in January 2017.
The film series, titled #ThatsHarassment, was released with the help of David Schwimmer and features the Friends star, among other actors, You can watch one of the films, The Coworker, here:
Each movie in the series recounts the real-life experience of a woman who has faced sexual harassment at some point in her life.
Avin, who was sexually harassed by a famous actor early in her career, said in an exclusive interview to Cosmopolitan:
The films were shot over a single weekend and feature, besides Schwimmer, Sex and the City actor Cynthia Nixon, Emmy Rossum and Cristela Alonzo.
