David Warner, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Kevin Pietersen and Yuvraj Singh - Delhi Daredevils have boasted of some of the biggest names in T20 cricket in the tournament’s 10-year history.

However, on Thursday night at their home ground Feroz Shah Kotla, one 19-year-old and a 22-year-old guided the team to their greatest-ever run chase.

Set a target of 208 by Gujarat Lions, Rishabh Pant smashed a quickfire 97 and had Sanju Samson(61) for support as the home team pulled off their highest run-chase.

Not just cricket greats, even Bollywood biggies had followed Rishabh Pant’s onslaught on the Gujarat bowlers.

But in all the congratulations for Rishabh and Samson, Twitter got something else also very right. Credit given where is it due - Rahul Dravid, Delhi Daredevils’ mentor, has played a big part in the shaping of both cricketers. Be it at the IPL franchise, or as the coach of the India under-19 team.
