It’s an auspicious Wednesday and a ‘golden’ opportunity for shopaholics to shop till they drop. For it’s raining sales and special offers on Akshaya Tritiya (Akha Teej). What’s the big deal, you ask? It’s all there in the word – ‘Akshaya’ means endless.
The auspicious occasion is believed to be the perfect day to buy gold. So naturally, a lot of people are lining up for this shopping festival.

Akshaya Tritiya could easily be known as Bappi Lahiri Day. And why not? The flashy music director is known for his love for gold. Keeping tradition in mind, it’s the best day for him to buy gold. Have a Happy Bappi Lahiri Day, everyone.
