Today is Global Handwashing Day, a day to remind us that the easiest way to stop the spread of germs is to wash our hands regularly with soap. (Remember the good ol’ school days?)

Having said so, please don’t go overboard with washing hands, and turn into Jack Nicholson from As Good as It Gets.

Anyway, we at The Quint are not here to lecture you about good sanitation habits. We reckon antibacterial soap advertisements will cover that.

Instead we bring you celebrities who should ‘wash their hands off’ certain issues, or people.

Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is known for dumping, sacking, and later apologising to his party members (Yogendra Yadav, Asim Ahmed Khan – the list is endless). We think it’s high time for Kejriwal to wash his hands off former state Law Minister Somnath Bharti. Good riddance for bad rubbish, we say!

Sonam Kapoor

Dear Sonam Kapoor, please wash your hands off Twitter. Seriously. Finding coherence in 140 characters – tumse na ho payega! Let’s admit it Sonam, you are the reigning troll queen. The time has come to pass on the baton to Sonakshi Sinha. #WhatSay

The Great Indian Nation

Welcome to the #BigBillionSale or #BigBillionFail. Who cares? It’s one big scam. Or, in Kejriwal’s words, “ sab ke sab mile hue hai.” Fellow Indian netizens, you set the alarm for 12 o’clock in the night, have your wish list ready, only to be disappointed in the end. Please wash your hands off the sale mania.

Salman Khan

‘Nuff of Being Human, Bhaijaan. It’s time to be yourself – a bad boy. Sallu Bhai needs to make Aamir Khan cry, and sanitise his hands off him. ‘Coz nobody questions Bhai’s maturity level, and takes credit of Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
