While 2016 has been a pathetic year for humanity and the world in general, not everyone had a bad time. Arshad Khan, aka the Pakistani Chaiwala, for instance, shot to fame when a photographer shared a photo of him.

His rise to fame has been a thing of internet-dreams. Since his picture went viral, Arshad Khan has appeared in a fashion show, a Pakistani TV show, a music video and has even made it to Sexiest Asian list prepared by Eastern Eye.

There is more good news for everyone going gaga over the blue-eyed Chaiwala, because now, Khan may appear in a film called Kabeer, which is set to release on Eid, reports Dunya TV News.

“I have signed a movie. In Sha Allah there will be a good role for me. I hope that people will watch the movie and like it,” said Arshad Khan as reported by Dunya News.

However, in an October interview, Arshad, an ethnic Pastun, had said that he wouldn’t take up acting. He said he hadn’t thought about acting in films as it hadn’t been done by anyone in his family.

Khan added that acting "is not honourable work. Pashtuns always look for work that is honourable... If I can find some clean, honourable work, I will certainly do it."

The 18-year-old seems to have learnt the tricks of the glam-world soon enough.
