The trailer for Thackeray, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is out and meme lords are having a field day.

Siddiqui’s iconic dialogue, “Ek sanghathan ki shuruwat karni hogi!”, delivered in his usual fiery style, is being turned into that one-meme-for-every-situation.

Thackeray is directed by MNS leader Abhijeet Panse, written and produced by Rajya Sabha MP and Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut, and follows Balasaheb Thackeray’s rise to power.

While Siddiqui is in the lead, actress Amrita Rao is set to make her Bollywood comeback as Thackeray’s wife, Meena Tai. The movie will be released on 23 January.
