The Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer - ‘Namaste England’ - has already landed itself in hot water. The poster of the movie, released on 14 August, presented a distorted version of the Indian map.

The map - as printed on the poster - has excluded the ‘Aksai Chin’ region from India. While the actors and the Bollywood fraternity celebrated the first look - the Internet reacted to the controversial poster of the movie.

Where is Aksai Chin?

Twitter users expressed their displeasure regarding the omission of the ‘Aksai Chin’ region in Jammu and Kashmir from the Indian map.

Many Tweeple have asked for an explanation from the makers of the film and the designer of the poster.

The makers of ‘Namaste England’ have also been accused of making this gaffe intentionally. It is being touted as a cheap publicity stunt - to increase the clout of the movie at the release of the posters.

Was it a PR Gimmick?

While most of the Twitterverse has expressed their anger and dissapointment - the actors or the crew of the film are yet to respond to the situation.

Although in minority, some Tweeple have tried to defend the movie by calling it an unintentional error.

What do you think? Do the makers of the movie owe the public an apology? Let us know in the comments.
