The Twitter community stands witness to the fact that despite India-Pakistan’s strained relationship, Indians and Pakistanis are really BFFs, especially when it comes to channelling their inner (resigned) humour to produce the funniest tweets on each other’s country’s politics.

Their latest victim is poor Nawaz Sharif who has been barred from contesting elections for life by the Pakistan Supreme Court over the Panama Papers leaks. Seconds into the verdict, Indians and Pakistanis brought Sharif down with sardonic tweets laden with cross-links to Indian politics, where the BJP is claiming to form government even in the states where they lost the election.
