Fast bowler Ishant Sharma joined the long list of Indian sportsmen to get hitched this year when he tied the knot with long-time girlfriend and basketball player Pratima Singh in Gurgaon on Friday.
Notable cricketers, incuding MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Munaf Patel, attended the 28-year-old’s wedding, which took place at a farmhouse.
Ishant, who is a part of the present Indian Test squad which is playing against England, has been given leave by the BCCI.
However, according to reports, Yuvraj and Dhoni’s wives – Hazel Keech and Sakshi Dhoni —were not present at the wedding.
