You know you’re going through serious Game Of Thrones withdrawals when you start seeing the house sigils everywhere. That’s what most fans thought when they saw the Stark sigil, in the milieu of White Walkers crossing over the now-demolished Wall, in the very last few scenes of GoTS7E7.

The supposed Stark sigil that the army of dead formed.

Unless, it wasn’t a figment of our imagination and a hint to a major fan theory.

Before you dissmiss this as far-fetched, take a closer look, says Reddit user sannybop who has started a thread dedicated to this incredible fan theory that Bran Stark is actually the Night King himself.

This isn’t the first time someone has suggested this theory, and it has been doing the rounds for quite a while before Season 7 even started. The reason the theory is being legitimised among fans is the supposed indirect nod from the makers in the form of the ‘Stark Sigil’ scene in the end of the season 7 finale.

Just like there is smoke when there is fire, when there is a Game Of Thrones theory there is Twitter chatter around it.

Of course there are deniers among fans who advise the fandom against taking their ludicrous ideas this far.

Some refuted the Stark Sigil theory, and gave an even better option. This:

Well, whether you buy this theory or not, it doesn’t hurt to go back to the season finale, and check out every detail possible. Who knows what more hints the makers have laid out for us?
