After the Udta Punjab row, here’s something that will catch your attention. Director Agneya Singh’s movie M Cream hopes to turn the tables completely, forget dealing with the self-appointed fathers of the nation. M Cream is about four friends on a road trip, in search of a form of life-changing charas (hash) . We don’t know about the charas, but the theme will certainly add another feather to Bollywood’s changing landscape. Watch the trailer here!

Singh has mentioned in interviews that while Udta Punjab believes that drugs are a menace to society, his film believes the opposite. Interesting, yes? The movie pitches drugs as a tool for experimentation that more and more young people are turning to, in order to deal with life’s blows.

He has mentioned that it’s time the youth fought for the change they wish to bring about. The movie takes an amoral stand and reflects the reality around us. It stars Imaad Shah and Ira Dubey and is set to release in India on the 22 July. We wish you all the luck in the world, Mr Singh!
