Two wins in two matches and India’s Under-19 Cricket team are already safely in the quarterfinals of the ICC World Cup being played in New Zealand.

With their next match slated for Friday against Zimbabwe, Prithvi Shaw and company had a few days handy to explore the country. Instead, the team chose to spend Wednesday morning watching another Indian team touring the county.

Led by Manpreet Singh, the Indian hockey team is also in the Kiwi town of Tauranga and played their opening game of the Four Nations Invitational Tournament on Wednesday. They hammered Japan 6-0 in a lopsided contest with the young cricketers cheering from the stands.

Dilpreet Singh and debutant Vivek Sagar Prasad struck a brace each in the hockey team's victory. Rupinder Pal Singh and Harmanpreet Singh also scored one each.
