It’s late night on Saturday in the USA, with people just recovering from Thanksgiving celebrations and Black Friday sales – but their president was in no mood to show mercy. He tweeted, of course, and upset half the country again.

This time, the target was CNN (surprise surprise).

But CNN’s Twitter game was strong, too. The news organisation’s comeback tweet left Tweeple ROFLing at the unexpected burn.

CNN’s statement duly clarified to Mr President what the role of a news organisation actually is, that is, to report facts and in the process, and also duly reminded him that it was his job to represent the country to the rest of the world.

Needless to say, Twitterati jumped right in, with popcorn, to see how this face-off went down.

Is There More To It?

But hold on, it wasn’t all fun and games. Some Tweeple saw sinister fallout from Trump’s tweet habit.

What do you think – Is Trump’s tweeting casual or calculated?
