In an incident that has shocked the internet, a Chinese company forced its employees to crawl on a busy road. Reports suggest the employees were made to walk on all fours after they failed to meet the targets set by the company. The video shows the employees being led by a man carrying a red flag in Tengzhou, China.

The company has faced flak for the “humiliating punishment.”

The incident that was captured on camera by shocked bystanders, was halted only when the police intervened.

The internet was set abuzz as soon as the video surfaced. The company has since shut down operations. This is not the first time a Chinese employer has been caught on camera, abusing and mistreating their employees.

Tweeple have also suggested that the workers “resign immediately” and the employers be “blacklisted all over the world”.
