Beyonce will be on the cover of US Vogue’s September 2018 issue!

Yes, you read that right.

Not only is an African American going to grace the cover of the prestigious magazine, this will be the first ever Vogue cover shot by an African American photographer- Tyler Mitchell.

Beyonce Casts A Halo!

Word has it that the issue will also include anecdotes from Beyonce’s life and how she, as a African-American woman, pulled through a lot of hardships to become the woman that she is today.

(PS: We can hardly wait!)

Upon her request, the magazine selected Tyler Mitchell to become the first African-American man to shoot its cover in their 126-year history!

Groundbreaking!

Mitchell revealed that he took inspiration from his African-American background while conceptualising his ideas for the cover shoot.

Twitter users backed the 23-year-old for his groundbreaking achievement, for becoming an inspiration for African-American children.
