AIB Podcast is back with another video, this time about how women face harassment online and the ways in which it can be dealt with.

Gursimran Khamba sat down with Raveena Tandon, Karuna Nundy, Radhika Vaz, Gurmehar Kaur, and Manaswi Mohata, who shared their experience of receiving threat messages and being harassed on social media.

Actor Raveena Tandon spoke about how a certain political party spokespersons targeted her and other celebrities with their agenda to get more eyeballs.

Supreme court lawyer Karuna Nundy spoke about the legal action a person can take against cyberbullies. Unfortunately, she said, most FIRs against social media threats were bailable offences.

Activist Gurmehar Kaur shared her experience on being trolled, called an ‘anti-national’, and defamed through character assassination.

There’s a difference on how people approach things online when men say something and women say something.
Radhika Vaz, stand-up comedian

“When a man says anything about you, just say something about his mother,” she advised

While the other guests disagreed with the same saying it will be wrong to attack another woman, Vaz did not budge.
