A video that emerged recently on social media shows two African women engaged in a scuffle with commuters on a Delhi Metro train, leading to one of the women taking off her t-shirt in anger.

Though there have been reports of the women facing racism and verbal abuse, there is no clear evidence yet of what caused the fight. The tussle could have broken out over seats, but there is no proof yet of that either.

The video shows the commotion getting worse amidst much clamour by commuters gathered around the two women, leading to one of the two removing her top and beckoning for a fight.

Take a look at the video:

On being contacted by The Quint, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s (DMRC) Public Relations Officer said the issue has been resolved and that there were no complaints from any of the commuters.

In the video, people can be heard saying “bahar nikaalo" a number of times until a man comes forward to defuse the situation and calm the women down. The video was uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday.
