It looks like someone did not get the memo that it is actually cool to repeat a dress. The Duchess of York does it, Michele Obama did it as first lady, and Deepika Padukone does it. But no not Margo Brockman. But it wasn’t really her fault, it was her husband’s says this story in the New York post.

83 Year old Paul did not want his wife Margo, now 66 to ever repeat a dress. So he bought her a dress every time he saw one that he liked.

Every time I turned around, he had a new dress for me

According to the story the first dress that he ever bough her was a black Tafetta dress, and after that he went on to collect so many dresses that his wife and he now have the largest collection of fine dresses in the world. The couple who were originally from Germany now live in Arizona in USA.

About five years ago, Paul finally stopped adding to the collection. But by then there were massive closets and containers to house thousands of gowns in their home. The couple have now sold about 7000 of them after some persuasion from their daughter. But they will never actually sell all of them. While we would love to see this incredible dress collection, we hope that Margo also gets to enjoy wearing the same dress twice.
