Onto rumours of the next wedding on the horizon, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ Jodhpur nuptials.
A little bird told us that clothes have already been sent to California from a bunch of A-list designers for Nikunj Jiju to try on. These include labels from designer brands like Raghavendra Rathore, but who Nick picks, we will only know when the pics arrive.
All phones will be confiscated for four days in what has become a wedding tradition for all such celeb weddings. But Nick Jiju and the rest of Priyanka’s American sasuraal are unlikely to be able to contain their own excitement at being part of an Indian wedding, so no matter how tight the velvet ropes, we expect an Instagram leak or two.
Meanwhile, Priyanka, it is said, is likely to be wearing Ralph Lauren at some point during the pre- and post-wedding festivities as custom-made clothes from the brand were already sent to their rooms for fittings when she came with her future in-laws to see the Jodhpur venue. Rooms have been blocked out in Umaid Bhawan, which is the Palace residence of former Maharaja Gaj Singh of Jodhpur and other palace properties in Jodhpur.
Given her bestie status with Meghan Markle, PeeCee wouldn’t want to be left far behind... after all, why shouldn’t she have a royal wedding herself, what with being Bollywood/Hollywood royalty and all?
