The Quint’s has launched its second edition of My Report Debate, an online essay competition that is both critical and rewarding for the participants. The first edition of the My Report Debate was introduced in March 2019, which received around 400 entries from across the country.

Through this initiative driven by My Report, The Quint's citizen journalism platform, we sought to engage and build a space for exchange of ideas in the crucial year of the general elections.

For the second edition of the My Report Debate, we are shifting the focus to India’s relations with neighbouring Pakistan. Quintees engaged in a debate on the best way to fix India’s relations with Pakistan.

You too can send your entries, and the winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000!

The question for the second edition of My Report Debate is:

How to fix the India-Pakistan Relationship- Jaadu ki Jhhappi or Surgical Strike?

Every government in India has faced one major challenge – how to handle Pakistan? At times India extended the hand of friendship but at other times, it carried out surgical strikes across the border. But ties between India and Pakistan remain unstable. What is the best way to manage India’s relations with Pakistan?

The competition is open to all age groups and the participants can write in both English and Hindi. A senior editor from The Quint and two veteran journalists will be picking one winner each from English and Hindi language categories.
