Ashley Barton is a family photographer and thus spends a lot of time clicking pictures of other people in their domestic space. However, by the end of 2015, Barton realised that while she spends a fair amount of time clicking pictures of other people, she does not have enough pictures of her own children. And thus Barton’s project for 2016 - she decided to click a picture of her children every day, for the entire year.

On 1 January 2016, she forgot to click a picture, but after that, there was no looking back as she went ahead to construct a visual narrative of a year from her children’s lives.

This challenge has taught me to let go, let them be and to just savour it.
