Malini Ramani’s collection, Nomad, showcased at the Amazon Fashion Week Autumn Winter 17 was boho, but with minor restraints.

Its boho/nomadic vibe was restricted to colours of black and brown, although the golden detailing on the outfits oozed ‘desi diva’.

The collection had heavy doses of earthy browns, but that didn’t dull matters at all. There was Indian embroidery on dresses that had a very India-meets-West sensibility. The prestitched saris came with pretty printed blouses.

Coming to favourites, I think you too would fall in love with this stunning Bomber jacket-sari combo. The two surprisingly complement each other well and look like two distant cousins that have finally gotten together!

All we can say is, that with its muted palette and contrasting free flowing Nomadic vibe, the collection seems somewhere in between: maybe a city boho.
