PM Modi Turns Author, Writes Book for Nation’s Youth
This is his first book while being the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is turning author once again and publishing a book that’s aimed at the nation’s youth as well as youth the world over. This is, however, his first book while being Prime Minister.
It covers several aspects which students especially in grades 10 and 12 will find useful. With the book, Modi aims to become a friend to the students while they appear for their exams and provide a sort of moral support.
Modi has written in a conversational and informal manner, trying to drive home the point that rote learning for marks won’t help in life but acquiring knowledge will be fruitful for future.
The idea for the book came from the prime minister himself. After the positive response to his “Mann ki Baat” episode where he spoke about the problems facing students, he compiled his thoughts on various issues concerning the youth.
The book will be published later this year by Penguin Random House and in multiple languages, to reach the maximum number of youth.
