New Delhi, April 23 (IANS) It was a sunny and pleasant morning in the national capital on Monday with the maximum temperature expected to be around 36 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 19.3 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
"The sky will remain clear with strong surface winds likely to occur during the day," an India Meteorological Department official told IANS.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 31 per cent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 36.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 21.2 degrees Celsius, both two notches below the season's average.
