New Delhi, June 5 (IANS) Delhi High Court's Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal on Tuesday asked students to plant more trees and stop use plastic products including glasses, bottles and plates.
She asked students to participate in tree plantation and nurture them not only for themselves but also for a better future for the coming generation, while not using plastic products in view of their environmental impact. She also distributed jute and cloth bags to school children to encourage them to make environment plastic free.A
Justice Mittal was addressing a gathering organised by Delhi State Legal Services Authority in coordination with Delhi Government's Department of Environment and Forest to celebrate World Environment Day at Hauz Rani City Forest in south Delhi.
