The problem with partying in winter is all those layers can take the sexiness away from your party clothes. But party we must, that too in style. So, here goes.. our pick of the best winter party styles for you.

Pretty Couplings

The fashionable Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone set the wardrobe bar high.

The fact that Deepika wears pristine white here, an atypical colour for winter, makes sure she will stand out at any party. Plus, the pretty fall of the dress, the gorgeous lip colour and the neatly tied hair at the back, all look amazing. She also shows just the right amount of skin, as the cut gives her neckline a very feminine and graceful look.

About Ranveer, well, what do we say? While most men will most likely say, “Dude, who dresses like that?”, wearing a cobalt blue fedora and all that, we know he maintains the style equation of the couple pretty balanced.

Maroon is a gorgeous colour, that looks especially good on desi skin tones. What makes this dress a total winner is the fact that it is long (so you can sneakily wear your warmers underneath!), and that it has a cape (which is one of the hottest things you can wear on your shoulders).

Black Magic

Black is such a magnanimous colour — it makes all of us look spectacular. Here, the black dress is further glorified by the gold belt. Throw over a jacket, wear your heeled booties, and you’re all set to party.

Embellishments Galore

Faux fur will always look amazing. And while gloomy colours dominate most of the winter season, some metallic magic can set the tempo of a party going. This skirt manages to do just that.

Check Mate

In matters of style, you need to keep proper checks and balances, which is what this skirt-top combo does.

Tightly Knit

So you love your sweaters and won’t part with them even for a party. Luckily, you can get away with wearing them if you put on some nice metallic tights. These copper coloured ones are unusual and really chic.

It’s all Black and White

Won’t we just love if everything was black and white? Before you dismiss this look as too vanilla, do consider it for its clashing patterns. While the skirt has vertical stripes, the jacket has horizontal ones. Overall look: busy.

Bright Young Thing

Most of us are reluctant to wear really bright colours. But trust us, once you start wearing them, you can never stop.

Nude, Dude

The colour of skin can be really, really sophisticated. What we like about Pernia Qureshi’s look here is that she wears a checks jacket that goes well over her feminine dress.

Coat, Uncoat

While everyone will be wearing their pretty dresses, you can steal the show with an awesome printed jacket. We aren’t going to sugarcoat this one.

Separate Story

Well, separate ‘separates’ are a hot trend that all cool girls are wearing. This look is basically a fashionable mishmash. And the leather jacket automatically adds a whole lotta’ chiller vibe to this look.

The Elf in The Room

People are increasingly going green, but are they wearing it? Not really. We understand the inhibition — no one wants to be called an elf. But once you start wearing the colour fashionably, you’ll have the whole room going green with envy.

Signing off, all we’d want to say is — this party season, don’t forget to make your look winteresting.
