Now, Baghpat: Girl’s Ears Brutally Chopped Off For Resisting Rape

In a barbaric turn of events, at least four men allegedly chopped off a girl’s ears in Baghpat area in Uttar Pradesh as she repeatedly resisted gangrape. The incident took place on 4 January.
The girl was allegedly abducted by the four men from Ramala police station area. They beat up the girl's mother when she tried to rescue her daughter, according to Firstpost.
A case has been registered under Sections 354, 324 and 323, but no arrests have been made so far, reported ANI.
Satyapal Singh, the local BJP MP from Baghpat, refuted the girl’s statement. He said, "There was no rape attempt made.”
The girl is a resident of Asara village in Ramala Police station of Baghpat district. Asara village made headline in 2012 and 2013 when its village panchayat repeatedly banned women from using mobile phone and wearing jeans.
