Erection issues which you have noticed for a few years need to be evaluated properly. Both tobacco and alcohol have an adverse effect on erection, other reason to be investigated. Medication after the evaluation is helpful in a vast majority of patients. Do see a doctor.
Being nervous and having problems with erection are often noted during the first time. There is no need to be ashamed or nervous. Undue anxiety about this will hamper your normal sexual life.
Your wife not being interested in sex may be due to one of the following:-
• If she had pain or difficulty enjoying sex
• If she does not manage to reach an orgasm
• Some women have vaginal dryness which prevent them from enjoying sex
• Your personal hygiene and her thoughts on sex can also influence her unwillingness
Suggest you have an open conversation about what troubles her and consult a doctor accordingly.
