After an unfortunate thoracic slipped disc and ligament tear in his right ankle, Hrithik Roshan has been on the road to recovery for the past eight months. Preparing for his upcoming film with Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor, Roshan is getting back in shape to amaze his viewers on the big screen.

According to an article by Mid-Day, Roshan has been following a strict routine to recover from his injuries, and has attributed his strength to Zero Momentum Reps (ZMR), essentially a form of exercise which deals with handling lighter weight with little momentum in the reps. The star who is famous for his fitness is coming back stronger than ever, if his Instagram posts are anything to go by.

Bollywood’s ‘Greek God’ has been training rigorously after gaining his strength back from the ligament tear. He has been chronicling his journey on Instagram to keep his fans in the loop, and can even be seen groaning in pain in some posts.

According to another article , Hrithik now works out twice a day with mornings dedicated to cardio, and evenings to weight and functional training. He is gaining his strength from his signature workout routine, ZRM which has been incorporated into his HRX routine.

Through all of his instagram posts, one thing has been constant, his never-say-die attitude. This beast refuses to give up and has been hard at work to get back in shape. He has a strict “no bullshit, no excuses” policy when it comes to fitness and he is a firm believer of no pain, no gain.

Hrithik Roshan is definitely working up a storm and sticking to his fitness routine despite his injuries. What’s your excuse?
