What happens when you combine cannabis with cola? You get cannabis cola. Or something like that. Coca Cola is toying with the idea, and they say the combo will be ‘healthy.’

The company has shown interest in exploring the use of a cannabis compound in some of its drinks.

In a quote to Sky News, Cola Cola’s spokesperson said:

Along with many others in the beverage industry, we are closely watching the growth of non-psychoactive CBD as an ingredient in functional wellness beverages around the world. The space is evolving quickly.

Cannabidiol, or CBD, that classifies as medial marijuana, is not psychoactive - meaning it won’t give you a high. There is ongoing research that supports use of CBD to treat a host of diseases.

It has a role in easing symptoms in chemotherapy, sleep disorders, anxiety and stress, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. You can read about these in detail here:
