Zaira Wasim, who played the younger Geeta Phogat in the Aamir Khan-starred Dangal, recently faced a lot of flak on social media for meeting the Jammu and Kashmir’s Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.

Following the outburst on social media, Zaira Wasim posted an apology letter to everyone who were offended and displeased by her actions.

However, the 2010 Commonwealth Games wrestling gold medallist, Geeta Phogat, has said that the actress who played her reel life character doesn’t need to apologise for anything.

She is a very good human being in real life too. If anything, Zaira Wasim is an excellent role model for the entire country. She needn’t apologise for anything.

Zaira, who deleted her open letter from Instagram after some time, had stated in the letter that she doesn’t want to be a role model for anybody.
