Charlie's Angels just had a desi makeover and has now been christened as ‘Trideviyaan’.

SAB TV recently aired promos and released newspaper ads of its upcoming show with three women spies/secret agents/bahus. Their 'badassery' obviously involves defeating the bad guys and also making sure that their household chores are taken care of. Because that is exactly what sanskaari Indian bahus do.

They are also armed with blingy earrings that also double as telephone earpieces. Fancy, eh?

Sadly, their weapons of choice seem to be limited only to kitchen utensils. Of course, the casual sexism did not go down well with the netizens and thus, the roasting ensued.
