Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s IPL love story has lived to be photographed yet another day after the Royal Challengers Bangalore managed to qualify for the play-offs following their final group fixture on Sunday.

The Kohli-led IPL team kept it till late, but got through to the next stage of the tournament after their final league fixture, against the Delhi Daredevils at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, was rained out on Sunday.

With Anushka in the stands, Virat was at his animated best in the must-win game against Delhi Daredevils even as the visitors managed to post a solid 188 run target for RCB.

In reply, Bangalore walked out to bat but rain interrupted play and with RCB at 2/0, the match was finally abandoned at 7:35 pm, handing the Bangalore outfit a point from the fixture and a place in the play-offs with a total of 16 points.

It was the final league fixture for both teams and while Bangalore now go through to the next round, Delhi Daredevils once again finish the season close to the bottom of the table.

This, of course, is not the first time Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has been spotted in the stands supporting her beau. She travelled to Australia to catch India in action during the World Cup and while that trip didn’t exactly increase her popularity among the sport’s manic followers, Sharma has been sighed often at IPL games this season.
