Exclusive: Salman Khan Talks About The “Eloping Gene” On KWK

They are one of the leading Khan-daans of Bollywood, and trust Karan Johar to induce them to share their some of their best kept secrets on national television. On the #KoffeeCentury episode, Johar brings together Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz Khan on the couch and guess what’s the first secret that spills out? That the Khans have an “eloping” gene.

You read that right. The Khan brothers share how Sohail ran away with Seema Sachdev to get married overnight. His friends actually kidnapped the maulavi from the neighborhood mosque to conduct the wedding. And guess what the maulavi revealed? He had been similarly kidnapped 35 years back to marry Salim Khan and Sushila Charak. Talk about the power of genes, eh?

The 100th episode of Koffee with Karan indeed proves to be a roller coaster one with the brothers teasing and making fun of each other in one of the sassiest conversations of the show. Quizzed on whether competition ever comes between the brothers, Salman speaks about being driven by positive ambition, in which he supports others when they do well and in turn get encouraged by them. He even says that he recommends his friends to directors if he feels they would make a good fit for a particular script.
