Move aside ‘One Direction’, there is a new boy band in town christened ‘Backhand Boys’ featuring 18-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer, and two other tennis aces – Grigor Dimitrov and Tommy Haas crooning an old soft rock classic by Chicago called Hard to Say I’m Sorry.

Federer posted the video on social media saying “No seriously, we’re actually starting a boyband”.

Unlike their first amateurish attempt back in January, when the trio tried to cover the same song while being assisted by Grammy-award winning musician David Foster, the second attempt can be termed successful, courtesy vocal sessions and a bit of auto-tuning.

Did we mention Novak Djokovic ‘videobombing’ the trio hitting the right tenor with his arms wide open?
