1. Salman Khan’s ‘Kick 2’ Gets a Release Date

Kick 2, Sajid Nadiadwala’s sequel to his hit 2014 film, Kick, has a release date. Starring Salman Khan, Kick 2 has been slated for a Christmas release in 2019.

Sajid Nadiadwala debuted as a director with Kick and went on to became the first director whose debut film gained entry into the Rs 200 crore club.

2. ‘Pari’ Teaser: Not a Fairy Tale Indeed

Bollywood doesn’t have a great legacy of horror films. Ramsay brothers created a cult of course but not in the serious horror film genre. As aren’t the interminable franchises from the Bhatt camp. But Anushka Sharma’s Pari might just change this.

Starring Anushka and Parambrata Chatterjee, Pari appears to be about a woman possessed by an evil spirit. The just-released trailer shows Anushka’s character being possessed and wreaking havoc.

3. Did Sonakshi Sinha Just Confirm Alia and Sidharth Were a Couple?

In a classic case of unwittingly confirming a rumour, Sonakshi Sinha admitted to the fact that Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra are/were dating! Sonakshi will be seen on BFFs With Vogue, along with style guru Manish Malhotra, and in a snippet from the show Sonakshi also revealed that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are a couple who don’t admit to it.

When asked who will hook up in 2018, Manish Malhotra had a very interesting reply: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

4. Jeetendra’s Cousin Alleges the Actor Sexually Abused Her

Veteran actor Jeetendra’s cousin has filed a complaint of sexual assault against him in Himachal Pradesh. According to reports, the alleged incident occurred when the victim was 18-years-old and Jeetendra was 28.

A report in India Today states that the victim chose to speak out after so many years after campaigns such as #MeToo created an atmosphere for victims of sexual abuse to speak out. The lady who wishes to remain anonymous also decided to file a formal police complaint after the demise of her parents, who would have been deeply affected if they had got to know of the sexual assault by their nephew, Jeetendra.

5. Viral Alert! British Pop Star Zayn Malik’s Dilip Kumar Connection

British pop star Zayn Malik has managed to break the internet by posting a throwback image of his father, Yaser Malik, with the veteran actor Dilip Kumar. Simply captioned “Abu with Dilip Kumar”, it looks like Zayn has put in a lot of effort to immortalise the photo as we see the tattered piece taped up in various places.

The image is reminder of the fact that Bollywood transcends borders and nationality, uniting people by their love of Indian cinema; and that Dilip Kumar still lives on in the hearts of the younger generations of performers.

6. Hrithik Looks so Much Like a Younger Me: Math Wizard Anand Kumar

Hrithik Roshan will play mathematician Anand Kumar in Super 30.

Mathematician Anand Kumar feels immensely privileged that Hrithik Roshan is essaying his character in Super 30, the biopic being directed by Vikas Bahl.

“I saw the picture of Hrithik Roshan playing me. The resemblance to what I looked like in my younger days, is uncanny. There is a hunger in Hrithik’s eyes that I felt when I was starting out on my mission to tutor promising maths students and to give them an atmosphere conducive to learning. I think Hrithik understands that hunger. As an actor he has felt the same hunger.”
