British pop star Zayn Malik has managed to break the internet by posting a throwback image of his father, Yaser Malik, with the veteran actor Dilip Kumar. Simply captioned “Abu with Dilip Kumar”, it looks like Zayn has put int a lot of effort to immortalise the photo as we see the tattered piece taped up in various places.
The image is reminder of the fact that Bollywood transcends borders and nationality, uniting people by their love of Indian cinema; and that Dilip Kumar still lives on in the hearts of the younger generations of performers.
Zayn, who is of Pakistani descent, seems to have inherited his father’s love for Bollywood as he has been spotted with the global megastar Shah Rukh Khan. He has gone on record to mention how he never was a fan of SRK until he met him and realised how down to earth he is.
“I personally wasn’t a huge fan until I met him (SRK). I realised how humble he is. Really showed a different side to him. He always came across as slightly arrogant in the movies to me, but when I met him in real life, he was so nice. He just completely changed my opinion of him.”Zayn Malik
