YouTube Signs On Priyanka Chopra for an Original Series
After ‘Quantico’, Priyanka Chopra will next be seen in a new international series on YouTube.
YouTube is expanding their list of original content and the global video sharing site has now signed on Priyanka Chopra as the face of one of its shows. Priyanka will be the star of a new series titled If I Could Tell You Just One Thing, in which the actor will be globe-trotting and rubbing shoulders with people around the world to pick up on the best advice they have to offer. The Quantico star, who’s become an international face after her series for the ABC network and her appearance in the Baywatch film, would’ve been an easy choice for YouTube’s show.
According to a report on Variety.com, the new content deals were announced at a YouTube Brandcast event on Thursday in New York. YouTube will also be renewing Kevin Hart’s What the Fit?, a second season of The Slow Mo Guys’ The Super Slow Show and a new untitled show from Demi Lovato.
YouTube will also be live-streaming Hollywood actor Will Smith’s stunt of bungee-jumping from a helicopter over the Grand Canyon for a charity event.
YouTube has 1.8 billion logged in users each month and they’ll looking to build on that with their new original ventures.
